New Latino HIV Rates Highest in Southeast

Latinos are experiencing a disproportionate number of new infections and diagnoses across the U.S. In 2022, Kentucky, Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina saw the highest rates of new diagnoses among Latinos.

Note: Data based on year of diagnosis. Infection can occur years before diagnosis.
