At least 50% of Domestic Workers in the U.S. are Immigrants

The U.S. Census Bureau's 2021 American Community Survey found that 44% of domestic workers are foreign-born. 39% of all domestic workers identified themselves as Hispanic, followed by 9% of black workers. The numbers may be even higher, as many domestic workers work under the table.
