2026 Vermont Town Absentee Percentage Heat Map
Percentages derived from reported absentee votes cast in each town compared to the total registered voters for that town.
For instance, in Town A, if there were 100 absentee ballots received, and the total number of registered voters in Town A was 200, then there would be a result of 50% absentee ballots received in Town A. Percentages allow for a weighting of these results which levels the playing field between smaller population towns and larger towns. The heat map then charts the variation in results using colors to show where proportionally more or less absentee votes were received in each town.
Town vote data is from the Vermont Secretary of State's Office, 2026, and is expected to change as the votes are counted and filed with the Secretary of State's Office. Results are unofficial until certified by the Secretary of State's Office.
