Uptake of AI tools among candidates and campaigns is (probably) slow

Candidates and PACs paying for AI tools - excluding Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot- in the 2026 cycle. Includes common AI tools and things identifiable as AI from filings.

Gemini and Copilot appear as a part of Google/Microsoft enterprise licenses and aren't easily identifiable. More on this below. The most common tool with "AI" in the name (CallTime.AI, a democratic fundraising tool) is excluded because it seems to only use AI on the back end, rather than having users interact with it.
