‘Levada Centre’ calculates the social sentiment index based on four sub-indices - the family index (answers to questions about the financial situation of the family), the Russia index (assessments of the state of the Russian economy), the expectations index (prospective assessments of the situation of the family and the Russian economy) and the authorities index (assessments of the activities of the authorities). We modified the Levada-Centre index by excluding the last sub-index when calculating the integral value.
