Young Republicans aren't totally sold on defense spending

In a 2017 survey of 2,020 Americans, Republicans under age 35 expressed much less interest in increasing defense spending than older Republicans. Nearly 40% of younger Republicans favored maintaining the defense budget as is, which aligns them with Democrats' average position on this issue.
