Notes: Adults who are Black, white, or additional races are those who do not identify as Hispanic/Latinx. For Black, Hispanic/Latinx, and white adults, the June 2022 estimate differs from April 2021 at the 0.01 level, and for additional races, the June 2022 estimate differs from April 2021 at the 0.10 level, using two-tailed tests. Because of sample size constraints, respondents who did not identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, or white have been aggregated into one group, which can conceal important racial differences in rates of food insecurity among adults in that group.
