Intended maximum property tax rates (in mills) by taxing entity (FY 26)

Piper Unified School District adopted the the highest property tax cap among Wyandotte County taxing entities that plan to ask for increased property tax revenues in the coming year, according to Unified Government data. The district, although rapidly growing, is among the smaller public school systems in the county. All area public school districts capped their rates higher than other institutions that plan to increase revenues.
