Rochester's shooting incidents, January - August

In 2024, the Rochester Police Department (RPD) reported 111 shootings between January and August, a 39% decrease from 182 the previous year. While 2023's incidents peaked in the summer months, gun violence has remained relatively constant throughout 2024.
