Percentage of Toronto's Homeless Population Who Are Experiencing Chronic Homelessness

The percentage of Toronto's homeless population rose from about a third during the pre-pandemic level to about half after the outbreak of COVID where it has been hovering at since.

Chronically Homeless is defined as a person who has recorded a minimum of 180 overnight stays in the past year; or the person has recurrent overnight stays over the past three years with a cumulative duration of at least 546 nights.
