'Nightly paid' includes only self-contained accommodation – where the basic elements of living are located together within a defined area and are not shared by more than one household. 'Other' temporary accommodation includes that leased directly and temporarily by a household from a private landlord, supported lodgings, mobile homes and unknown. Ranking of expense is done according to a Centre for Homelessness Impact report. Data collection methods changed in Q2 2018, although MCHLG has made the figures comparable over time.
