Lithuania to add second Suwałki Gap military route

Lithuania is moving to strengthen the military infrastructure network around the Suwałki Gap, a roughly 100-kilometer long stretch of land along the Lithuanian-Polish frontier flanked by Belarus and the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad. The plan, in coordination with Poland, would reinforce a second route connecting Vilnius and Augustów alongside the Via Baltica.
