Assuming buyers allocate 30% of their income to housing, Zoocasa calculated the annual income required to purchase a median-priced single-family home in 40 popular vacation destinations.

Median home prices were sourced from the National Association of Realtors and individual real estate boards. Average monthly mortgage payments were calculated based on a 20% down payment and a 30-year fixed mortgage rate of 6.72%.
