Office jobs fell while management and healthcare roles grew

The chart shows the occupations in the Pittsburgh metro area with the largest estimated employment changes from 2023 to 2025. Office and administrative support occupations saw the largest decline, falling by about 16,400 jobs. Management occupations had the largest increase, adding about 13,100 jobs, followed by healthcare practitioners and technical occupations, which added about 9,600 jobs. Healthcare support, community and social service, food preparation and serving, computer and mathematical, educational instruction and library, and construction and extraction occupations also grew over the three-year period.
