Use of tolled express lanes along segments of three major highways dropped significantly during the pandemic. One I-25 segment in north metro Denver and the I-70 eastbound mountain lane have resumed normal patterns, while U.S. 36 and another I-25 segment haven't fully recovered.
*U.S. 36 data show approximate trips, after dividing counts taken at multiple toll points by 3 (reflecting how many points the average vehicle passes through). This allows for comparison to other corridors.
