COVID-19 among leading causes of death

COVID-19 claimed the lives of 452 residents of the central San Joaquin Valley in the four-month period from April 1 through July 31. Here is how coronavirus disease compares with the 15 leading causes of death in the region averaged for the same four-month period in 2016 through 2018.
