Santa Margarita Lake storage levels

Data from the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department show that the Santa Margarita Lake is overflowing at the Salinas Dam as of Jan. 11. The red dotted line represents the lake's capacity limit.

One acre-foot of water is about 325,851 gallons.
