An area chart that tracks citizenship status of Ohioans with Somali ancestry from 2004 to 2023. The share who are not U.S. citizens declined from close to 40% in 2004 to 18% in 2023. The share who are born in the U.S. or who are naturalized citizens correspondingly increased from 60% in 2004 to 82% in 2023.
