Crime guns sold, recovered in PA in and before 2021

Brady United took a snapshot of data available on the Pennsylvania Gun Tracing Analytics Platform on Aug. 24, 2021. The platform told viewers the county of origin for each gun used to commit a crime in Pennsylvania and the county where each "crime gun" was recovered. That data has since been removed from the internet. Lehigvalleylive.com created this map using data captured by Brady United.

Only 117 out of 501 law enforcement agencies in Pennsylvania opted in to contribute data to this platform. The origin of 79,626 crime guns was listed as "unknown."
