Requests for help with car payments have risen in 2025

While the actual numbers fluctuate day to day, and drop significantly on weekends, people calling 211 for help making car payments increased steadily through mid- to late 2025. Daily calls for this type of help peaked in October, with nearly twice as many as in May 2025.
