2024 MBA Pay: Mid-Atlantic

There’s DC – the nation’s capital – and not much else. Philadelphia can list Campbell’s, Comcast, and Aramark among its 9 Fortune 500 residents. Baltimore can crow about its harbor and Pittsburgh can point to its high-tech startup ecosystem. Beyond that, the region can lay claim to its colonial heritage and picturesque mountains. Stanford grads earned the most here at $186,833, though only 6 members of the Class of 2024 call the Mid-Atlantic home. Harvard and Wharton MBA netted $174,654 and $173,438 packages respectively. And maybe more Cornell MBAs should take a flyer on the Mid-Atlantic. Their graduates pulled in $168,400 here to start, more than grads from MIT Sloan, Dartmouth Tuck, NYU Stern, and Yale SOM. At the high end, a Harvard Business School grad signed a $350,000 deal with a Mid-Atlantic company. At the same time, a Carnegie Mellon Tepper grad nabbed $215,000 to start – just $10,000 less than the Wharton School’s best.
