Annual population changes by Maryland region

So far this decade Maryland's Eastern Shore is growing at a faster rate than it did from 2010 to 2020 while Western Maryland's population has stayed relatively stable, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates. Southern Maryland has seen its growth slow while the Baltimore and Washington areas' has reversed.
