Enrollment at NDSU crossed 10,000 for the first time in 2000 and continued to climb, hitting a peak in 2014. NDSU's fall enrollment dropped in each of the following years up to 2023. Fall 2025 enrollment matched fall enrollment in 2023 and 2024.
