Indonesian Oil Production Trends: 1997–2025

Indonesia’s crude oil output has faced a consistent year-over-year decline since 1997. Historical data shows only three exceptions to this trend: the 2008 commencement of the Hiu Kerisik and Belanak fields, the 2016 ramp-up of the Banyu Urip field, and the 2025 production boost.
