911 calls answered within 20 seconds at metro agencies

The percentage of calls answered within 20 seconds increased for most of the metro agencies the AJC surveyed. The answer rate in DeKalb and Clayton counties worsened slightly year over year.

Excludes abandoned calls. The industry standard that 95% of calls should be answered within 20 seconds comes from the National Emergency Number Association.
