States are ranked by the estimated percent of the workforce employed in the 26 occupations with the highest AI task exposure.

Rankings are based on U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates. Small differences between states should not be interpreted as statistically significant. This measures employment concentration in highly AI-exposed occupations and does not estimate future job losses, wage changes or hiring declines. Ranks are ordered using unrounded values; states shown with identical percentages after rounding may still differ at a finer decimal precision and are not necessarily tied.
