Reports of suspected harmful algal blooms in New Jersey

Year-to-year comparison of the January 1 to July 22 date range.

For 2019, 43 of the 65 reports were for Lake Hopatcong. For 2017, DEP's harmful algal bloom strategy was not fully implemented until mid-summer.
