Nassau County Hands More Immigrants to ICE Than Any Other County in New York

Between June 2026 and August 2026, local law enforcement agencies in New York detained and transferred 272 immigrants to ICE through the use of 287(g) agreements. Of those, 195 were from Nassau County police departments.
