2023 MBA Pay: South

Call it a repeat of the Mid-Atlantic. Stanford GSB grads again earned the highest bases in the Class of 2023 – but the number was based on six hires. Dartmouth Tuck ranked 2nd at $180,346 – well below the $195,000 bases that GSB grads collected – with 13 Tuck grads choosing to re-launch their careers in the South. The top three is rounded out by Chicago Booth, where 18 members of the 2023 Class averaged $177,566. While Wharton ranked 7th in South pay, it boasted the highest single paycheck at $300,000. Among Southern schools, Georgia Tech Scheller and Emory Goizueta grads received the highest bases at $159,358 and $155,693 respectively. A Scheller grad also pulled in a $249,600 base to start.
