The Southeast Faces Highest Eviction Rates

In the rural U.S. South, some of the highest eviction rates are in South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia and North Carolina. The eviction filing rate is per 100 renters.

Maryland has a much higher filing rate than everywhere else because of the way it records eviction notices.
