The categorization of households is based on the following classification. Those households with at least five of the following attributes --- a) Ownership of pucca house; b) Electricity connection ; c) Television ownership; d) Possessing reading material (other than newspapers); e) At least one graduate member ; f) Mobile ownership ; g) Ownership of motor vehicle (2/4 wheeler) --- have been classified as highly privileged. Households with at least two but less than five of the above seven attributes have been classified as moderately privileged. Households without any of the attributes or only one of these attributes have been classified as under-privileged. Reading ability (std III-V) refers to % children in this category who can read std I  level text. Reading ability (std VI-VIII) refers to % of children who can read std II level text. Math (std III-V) refers to % of children who can do at least subtraction. Math (std VI-VIII) refers to % of children who can at least do division.
