A record number of Oklahoma legislative candidates filed for House or Senate seats in 2018. But the number of candidates declined sharply in 2020, largely due to challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. All 101 House seats are up for election this year, while half of the 48-member Senate seats are on the ballot.
