World Trade Organization trade disputes over time

Since the World Trade organization's creation in 1995, the United States has been involved in nearly 300 disputes, as either a complainant or a respondent. While the majority of those disputes were filed in the late 1990s, many of the first disputes were over trade policies dating back to the early 20th century.
