Nebraska high school girls wrestling participation
There's been a 200% increase in the number of girls competing in wrestling since it became an officially sanctioned sport four years ago.
From 2021-22, the number of girls competing in wrestling has increased from 711 to 2,134, a 200% jump. The number of school participating has nearly doubled in that time.
