Shapiro's High-Dollar Fundraising Spree

When it comes to pulling in high-dollar donors, Pennsylvania's gubernatorial election is no contest. Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro counted 54 donors — deep-pocketed individuals and PACs — who gave at least $100,000 apiece to his campaign last year, totaling nearly $12.8 million or 57% of his annual fundraising. Republican Stacy Garrity had only three such donors who gave about $450,000 or 31% of her fundraising.
