Estimated Population Change Error

The map shows the difference between the estimated population change and the actual population change.

The map shows the discrepancy between what population change was estimated prior to the census, and what population change was actually counted in the census. E.g. if the estimated change was an increase of 5,000 people, but the actual change was an increase of 6,000 people, the discrepancy would be -1,000.
