This chart shows how much the two-party-preferred (2PP) vote differs between an ‘average’ electorate and electorates with either high incomes (ie. incomes in the top 10%), high unemployment or high levels of education.
The figures indicate impact on Coalition’s 2PP vote (%). For example, in 2016, an electorate with incomes in the top 10% had, on average, more than 15% higher vote for the Coalition than the
average electorate (on a 2PP % basis).
