Triangle, Mecklenburg teenagers sentenced to life in prison

Nineteen of the 95 North Carolina young defendants sentenced to life without parole since 1995 were convicted in and near North Carolina two largest counties. Many had their sentences changed after appeals and reviews following key U.S. Supreme Court rulings.
