Inspector general probe of MWBE contracts on Buffalo Billion projects

This chart shows contracts on three Buffalo Billion projects that the state Inspector General's Office investigated because of alleged circumvention of minority- and woman-owned business contracting requirements. The contractor is the company that contracted and paid a certified minority- or woman-owned business for work or a product, but used them as a "pass through" and hired a non-certified company to do the job.
