This graph shows the number of family-based Green Cards issued at U.S. Consulates and embassies outside the United States from October 2018 up to the latest available month in 2022. It shows the dramatic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with numbers falling in April 2020 to a fraction of what they were before. But it also shows that Green Card issuance for immediate relatives recovered much more quickly than issuance for family preferences (F1, F2A, F2B, F3, F4).
