Iran's Enriched Uranium Stockpile vs. JCPOA Limit (2016–2025)

This chart shows the development of Iran's total enriched uranium stockpile across all enrichment levels. From low-enriched uranium (up to 5%) to near-weapons-grade material (up to 60%). This information is derived from the quarterly verification reports provided by the IAEA. The dashed line marks the 300kg ceiling set by the JCPOA. The sharp increase from 2019 directly follows the unilateral US withdrawal from the nuclear agreement in May 2018. By May 2025, Iran's stockpile had reached 9,248 kg. More than 30 times the JCPOA limit.
