Number of GMATs By State (2018-2019)

It would be an understatement to call 2019 a down year for GMAC. In real terms, the number of tests dropped from 95,638 to 82,844 in one year – or 14.4%. California, for example, saw 1,571 fewer GMATs, with New York (-1,211) and Texas (-1,041) suffering similar losses. By the same token, Wisconsin and Missouri experienced a 25% or more downturn in GMATs. In fact, just one state – Iowa – saw an improvement…and the difference there was just 32 more GMAT test-takers over 2018.
