ESG Rating and Global Rank

MSCI ESG Ratings aim to measure a fund’s exposure to financially relevant ESG risks and opportunities using a rules-based methodology. Ratings range from leader (AAA, AA), to average (A, BBB, BB), to laggard (B, CCC). MSCI Global Rank represents the relative ranking of a fund's ESG score relative to all funds covered by MSCI ESG Ratings, with 100 being the top ranking. This table compares the weighted average MSCI ESG Ratings and MSCI Global Ranks for our investment strategies based on each strategy's underlying holdings.

Ratings and rank data was collected in July 2022. Analysis assumes that an investor is assigned to a Risk 6 model portfolio in a retirement account (e.g. RRSP) without any allocation to gold.
