What grade would you give Montgomery County’s public schools?
MCPS got its highest marks from parents whose children attend its schools: Seven in 10 public-school parents gave the district an A or B grade.
A chart showing results of a poll conducted by The Banner. In this question, Montgomery County residents were asked how they would grade their public schools. Seventy percent of the parents who had children in the county's public schools gave them a grade of "A" or "B" — nearly twenty percentage points higher than county residents' overall grading.
