Families and children apprehended

Nearly 107,000 family units from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico were apprehended at the U.S. border in 2018.

A family unit represents the number of individuals (either a child under 18 years old, parent or legal guardian) apprehended with a family member.
