Expanding their range

While Caitlin Clark came into the WNBA with outrageous range, many shooters across the league have stretched further from the 3-point line over the course of their careers. Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum, for example, took most of her 3-pointers close to the 22-foot, 9-inch line as a rookie. Eight years into her career, she's pulling from nearly 25 feet on average.
