The number of Laboratory reports of Giardia in England 2025

Rates of the parasitic infection increased by 11.4 per cent between 2024 and 2025. Figures from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) revealed cases of giardiasis rose to 6,069 in England – up from 5,450 the previous year. This map shows the regional breakdown of cases.
