Drone use is more common on larger farms

In 2023, drones were less widely adopted than other precision agriculture technologies, but their use was more common among larger farming operations.

Estimates include only farms that harvested cropland. Robotic milking and wearable livestock technologies are not included in the graphic. Nonfamily farms are farms where the operator and related individuals do not own a majority of the business.
