Guiding air traffic

A shortage of air traffic controllers led to transfers from the Terminal Radar Approach Control or TRACON center in Westbury, which managed air traffic in and out of Newark Liberty, to Philadelphia TRACON. Breakdowns in radar and radio communications have affected air traffic for weeks at Newark.
