Higher log-odd ratio means a greater likelihood with having NIH grants cut while lower a log-odd ratio means a lower likelihood with having NIH grants cut. For example, grants with the words in conjunction “Sexual minority” in their project titles have a 3.66 times more of a likelihood of being in grants with their NIH grants terminated than non-terminated cases. The analysis for this data was done with all the project titles that were terminated by the NIH and all UC grants from fiscal year 2021-24 that were not terminated.
